Initial Consultation

The first step is for Intergage to sit down with you and run through your requirements and find out what is needed, to generate a significant return-on-investment. An initial getting-to-know-you meeting is usually followed by an in-depth analysis of your Web site goals and objectives. These meetings are provided free of charge to companies in Hampshire.

Proposal

Having considered your requirements, your competition, your audience and its needs, Intergage presents ideas about how best to market your company on the Web. This would include a visual 'sketch' of how the home page and an internal pages could look, a potential site structure diagram and a clear breakdown of our understanding of your goals and objectives, plus an illustration of how they will be addressed. At this stage, once these ideas have been discussed, reviewed and amended, as necessary, a formal quotation can be provided. At this stage, no cost has been incurred by the customer.

Kick-Off Meeting

On acceptance of a proposal, we would then arrange a kick-off meeting with one of our designers and the project manager assigned to your company. This meeting is all about setting expectations, with regard to timescales, responsibility for work required on both sides and process. The Intergage designer will want to talk about branding, colour schemes and any additional 'look and feel' requirements, as well as e-mail and domain name arrangements.

The Design and Build

From the kick-off meeting, our designers will the produce an initial visual for your approval; this can be amended and iterated as many times as necessary, until you are completely satisfied with the look and feel of your home page. Intergage finds that the timescale for completing a project is usually dependent on the client, as well as the time it takes to provide the required content. It is unlikely that Intergage will keep a client waiting. The quicker the client provides content, the faster the project can move forward. We have been able to build and launch Web sites in as little as ten days, whereas, on average, a realistic timescale would be six to twelve weeks.

The client has access to the site throughout the building time, to monitor progress.

Completion

Once the Web site has been built and you are satisfied with the look and feel, Intergage completes a rigorous going-live checklist, ensuring that your site is fully operational. On your authorisation, the site will be made live.
